We went here as part of the meal deal with the cinema. We booked a package where for 15 pounds per person you get a two course meal, a cinema ticket and two scoops of ice cream. We knew the cinema tickets were valued at 9.95 and we knew the ice cream was around 3.50 pounds so we weren’t expecting much in terms of dinner for the remaining 1.50.

But we were pleasantly shocked when they brought us delicious free bread. The minute steak as the name suggests was on the small side but it was also fantastic. It was actually cooked to perfection. The salmon was also fresh and apparently great.

We went to flame on a Thursday night around 7.30pm and we were the only people there, simply because no one knows that this restaurant exists. Flame is located within the Casino and no one within the casino seems to know about it let alone what marvellous food they serve, at reasonable prices.

The service was exceptional. They went out of there way to serve us, probably because they haven’t seen a customer all day but still this a little hidden gem I truly recommend, especially if you opt to have the cinema meal deal.

I came across this great deal the otherday. A cinema ticket a two course dinner two scoops of ice cream from Ben and Jerrys for £20. I was shocked at what great value this was as the food was really good. What shocked me even more was when I got home and found out lastminute.com offered the same deal for just £15. Here are the details. I highly recommend you have a night out at a great price

The offer includes a two course dinner at the Flame restaurant, a cinema ticket to watch the latest movie and two scoops of Ben&Jerry’s ice cream at the Empire Cinema.

• Step 1: Select a day you wish to take part in the offer and purchase your ticket
• Step 2: Present your reservation confirmation form at Flame restaurant to enjoy your two course meal and receive your Cinema and Ice cream voucher. The Cinema and Ice cream vouchers will be valid for four weeks from the date of purchase
• Step 3 Present your Cinema and Ice cream voucher at the Ben&Jerry’s counter at the Empire Cinema for your two scoops of ice cream
• Step 4 Submit your Cinema and Ice cream voucher at the Empire cinema box office and choose any film with available seats for that day

You can always just show up to the Casino at the Empire for this deal. Go to the restaurant called Flame within the Casino. However please note that the price will be £20 per person + tax. Whereas online it is just £15 per person.

Also the people at the casino are very helpful and generous. I made a reservation on one day and was unable to attend, however they graciously changed my reservation for the next day at no added cost.
